Check out the Member News on the UD forums. The server had to be taken offline for maintenance. It should be back up at around 22:00 UTC, although it is likely to be busy for some time after it comes back up.

Yup it was probably brought back online when they said it would be back.. Mine connects automatically so whatever

It's finally back up however with thousands and thousands of computers trying to connect and download the new client update, report finished work units and download new work it's slooow going right now.
FYI, a also noticed a little jewel in the notes. Win95 is not longer supported. I'll bet Win98 is soon to follow but there was no mention of Win98 in the note.
