When the server was updated to the latest version I lost my WU, then 2 consecutive times I have lost my WU just by starting UD. Why do I keep loosing this WU info? It's annoying me because I'm loosing alot of hours.

You using Win XP, LD? Cause if so, I'm getting the same problem. I think it has something to do with XP not saving your WU progress on shutdown...

Then it must be a problem with the Agent...
Mine is STILL not connecting to the server, after 2 days continuously... Anyone know what's up?

Hey, same problem here! Running Win XP Pro. It's driving me crazy. It happened to me like 4 times before I realized what was happening...Arghh...
If anybody went to the UD forums to ask what's up, please provide a link to the others so we don't have to make a new topic about it....

I got worst here !
I got 2 computer un network the one the receive the internet and give it to the other computer don,t connect to UD or connect one time every two days and the other computer is always connected. It pretty strange !
I didn't lost any hours or point.
The computer that don't connect is on windows xp and the other one is on windows 98. I don,t think it because of windows cause it working once in a while on my xp machine. And I don,t have any firewall.

For me it's not everytime, just occasionally.
I've survived 32% with my current WU.

I'm sure most of you have found the UD support forums by now, and seen that we're drowning under this lot The short explanation is that there was a bug in the build of the agent distributed about 2 weeks ago which had problems checkpointing THINK progress under certain indeterminate circumstances. There is a new build being pushed out today which addresses this problem, but THINK is now finished running on UD amyway and they have moved to a new application called LigandFit. There have been a few problems with server connections recently since LIgandFit is produing even more data on the molecules than was expected which takes longer to upload. Again, there is a new build being pushed out today which should compress the results further to reduce this problem.

This seems to be the right thread for frustrations. All my PCs crunching UD won't connect to the UD Server. They updated (to 2814) fine, ran a new ligandFit task and are polling to return the results... Talking about fits...I think I'll pop off to the living room and have one...*sigh* Anyone out there to offer help? Scotty

No, from what I read it'll do it automagically and mine seemed to upgrade without doing anything.
Also, the last 2 completed WU's I "forced" through by clicking on the UD icon. That method doesn't always work but... sometimes you can sneak in and send the results. (other times it may "back off".)
