Tracked down a bug in showprofile.pl that prevented the "Send Private Message" button from working. To fix this bug you will need to edit showprofile.pl. Either you can download ithe updated showprofile.pl via the attachment, or you can just make the changes in your existing file that are noted below.
Starting at line 120, there is a small block of code that looks like this:
