I was getting impatient! []/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/] Actually I can't wait to get 5.0 installed, the new features were some of the most needed IMO. Now we just have to get the new messages/last day and I'm all set! Muhammad Chishti Creative dIRECTOR http://www.imcuniverse.com

Talk about a smooth upgrade! [knocking on wood...] I just upgraded two sites, and had no problems whatsoever! Very cool! []/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/]

Did you have problems with the upgrade zip file?

not at all, though I used the tar.gz file... I did download and unzip the .zip file, and it created and recursed the directories just fine...

As you may have noticed []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/] my site is *heavily* customized and I took great pains to merge my files *very* carefully before I bit the bullet. Kept my fingers crossed - and it went smooth as silk. Phew! [] http://www.amdragon.com/images/eileensig.gif[/]

Agreed - I have mine quite customized as well, and I keep all customized files in a separate directory to make upgrading easier - I just have to compare with those files what has changed in the release, and add/change the custom files accordingly. I cannot report any problems at all. []/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/]

If you have access to it, using CVS is a great way to keep up to date with any changes in the official version and install them automatically into your own customized sources. Here's a link if you haven't heard of it before http://www.loria.fr/~molli/cvs-index.html
