I really like the new look! And, since I wanted to test out the polling feature, here's one to see how many people agree with me!

Who else likes the way 5.0.9 looks?

I love the new look and the polling feature is great fun.
One thing: when you submit your vote you should be returned to the results page.

I agree with both of Eileen's comments ... The new look is great - much crisper - and the polls are good but should take you to the results. I am assuming that polls can be disabled via a configuration option.

I'm working on getting it so you will be returned to the results, but it's a bit tricky. Hopefully I can get it figured out.

And yes, you can turn the polls off in the w3tvars.pm file.

Another thought: the general move on the net seems to be towards smaller and neater. I'm finding the fontsize here a bit big for comfort - how's about trying it down one?

This poll system is amazing. I came here just to see what was going on but I wasnt expecting such a change!

A think that I would like is to be able to see all the polls from a page, or some way of showing the poll outside the post, and then go to the discussion about the poll. Another one would be to highligth in a way certain polls.
It seems to me this way would be more useful. Of course I guess this can be done (if you agree) on a future version....Excellent work!!!

However, I do like the old look of the Main Index better, with the two multiple colors for each board. I hope that part get's to be optional, otherwise I'll have to hack mine to stay the way it is now.

Just one question - is the bordercolor for the tables definable, or does it have to be black?

Currently this isn't an option. But, the description of the forum is in it's own table, so you could easily change the color of that to give the multi-color look, otherwise it will require a bit of a hack to change it around, but not too difficult.

Yep, it's in the theme file as $theme{'bordercolor'}, so you can have it pink, purple, green, whatever[]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/].

Okay, thanks, I guess when I upgrade to 5.0.9 I'll just have to make sure I keep that part as-is then... no problem! But the rest I really LOVE, great job!

One can log out of their ISP and log in again (or another ISP) and get another IP address and vote again. I just voted the second time for the smaller text. The first vote was when I had posted about not being able to vote twice.

Well, I was going to release it today, but since it is my Birthday it looks like I will be putting it out tommorow more than likely.

Another suggestion. Limit (option) to ONE pol per thread. I can see some threads having a different pol in every reply.
