Since our site is in the final stages of development, I decided to give beta 4 a test spin. I am unclear on how to install this version. I am currently running 5.1.1 perl.
The email I received stated that this is the final beta. Any idea on when the stable release will be out?

It depends on how you want to install it. If you want it to run off of your PERL database then you will need to upgrade your PERL version to 5.1.2, and then you can just point the PHP version at the PERL db. If you want to do a fresh install then you will need to configure it for a new database and then bring up the createtable.php file in your browser to setup your new database.

I just installed PHP3 at home and I'm going to be testing everything on there. Once this is done we should be ready for the final release. I hate to give a date in case we run into any problems but I'm guessing a week or so.

The PHP version won't run off the beta PERL. Actually I'm not sure I had a 5.1.2b release of the PERL version. If you have version 5.1.2 then yes you could install the PHP version and point to your current database.
