We have online courses that allow the participant access for 90, 120, 180, etc. days. Is there a way that I can set different individual cookies to expire on the same board. One cookie or session may be good for 90, while another is good for 180 days.

If someone does not renew, their access rights expire.

There isn't a way to do that currently, but it would be possible for a future upgrade. Basically it would be a way to set a cookie expiration on individual users so when set_cookie is called, it would set the custom expiration date.

You could do what we do, and use a directory access program... Where you would put a .htaccess file in the forums dir... Then use the htaccess admin programs to add people through the browser! :)

We use this, and it rocks! We use it to make "premium" members to our forums. Then when it gets REALLY busy, you can close the forums off to everyone except those that paid for the extra service.

You could do the same sort of thing with this, and offer online access via registration to this program, for the amounts of times YOU specify! :)
