hi, I have a problem that I can see others have had.

When I try to createtable i get this:

Whats wrong.? I have set the path in main.inc.php as you can see in the error msg.

can someone please help me.

Upon installing PHP on win32, you usually have to go into php.ini and tell it to not display the warnings.

Also, could you attach your config file so we can take a look? Win32 is picky about slashes and so forth...

Sounds like a config problem. It looks as though the script doesn't have the following variable set:

$config[dbtype]

thus yielding a blank spot in that part of the script.

It would help if you could attach your config file.

Solved. The config path should be "." :-)

New problem: WWWThreads PHP Demo
The forums are temporarily closed as we are upgrading to 5.1b.

As I try to user the Admin link..

Check out this statement in config.inc.php -

// This one variable is used to open or close your forums. Set this to
// 1 if you want to work on your forums. If this is set to 1 then your
// forums will only be accessible by the admin users. Make sure you are
// logged in as an admin before you close the forums.
$config['isclosed'] = 0;


Make sure it is set like it is above.
