ETA for next PHP release?

Scream,

Do you have an idea when you may release the next PHP version that includes the User Control Panel? I really want to make the switch from Perl to PHP ASAP, but was hoping to be able to wait until that new release is out. However, if it is going to be more than a week or two away, I will just go ahead and upgrade to PHP now. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure when the next PHP release will be out. I'm working on the PERL version first, and there is probably a couple of weeks left with that and then I'll do the port. Porting is qucker than the actual development but it's still going to be some time before the new feature release will be available.
