I mean that you can see whatever the registered (and anonymous) users are doing at that moment... for example:
Registering a new user.
or
Making a new reply

but it doesn't work on winnt (at least not on my com)
please help!

Can you offer a screen shot as to what it's doing? The entire online stuff doesn't work or just their location doesn't show in the online?

Trying to remember......since I had this problem.

I think it was PHP running as a CGI -- if I am not mistaken thats how Win NT runs PHP?

My host ran PHP4 as a CGI on a unix and PHP3 as a module. I wish they would install PHP4 as a module of Apache.

I'm running PHP4 as an Apache module under WinNT and I have the same problem.

I looked into it a little more and found that when main.inc.php does a getenv("SCRIPT_NAME") it always gets a result of "php4" instead of the script.

Nevermind, I noticed that it was running using the CGI API for some reason. I corrected the httpd.conf and restarted, now it's using the Apache API and the location info shows up just fine.
