I was testing the favorites (in control panel) and added 15 (or so) favorite threads. I guess I will be adding more, over time, in real use. I don't think I will use the thread reminder feature (which I think is great BTW), so rigth now I have a long list with an almost empty tist on the side... What happens if I add more threads? does it become a long list? eventually it will be a nightmare to load...

I would like it more if the first screen had something like 5 (maybe user or admin configurable) of each and then you could go to an specific "favorites" page with all of them (the same idea with all the other features). The specific page could also have the links that were on the first page as well. That way it would be easy to change the code to make a direct link to that page, for example...I would do that with favorites...

Anyway just my opinion...What do you think?

Doh! I was supposed to do that in the first place. Was only supposed to display 10 on the main page and then have a link to all if needed. I new I was forgetting something. I'll get this in before the actual release. Thanks for the suggestion/reminder[]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/].

That was a quick reply! the only other thing that I find somewhat strange is that I appear in the "friends online" box... Not that I wouldn't be a friend of myself (if I were someone else []/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/])...

Hope this is clear, my own nickname in my own's nickname control panel. Not a big deal, maybe it's the way it's suposed to work but I found it strange when I first saw it.

Other than that everything works very well as far as I can tell...

Yep, makes sense. Should be working properly now.

What happened with the first mock-up that MTO did that had the reminders and favorites box going the full width instead of side-by-side. I liked that because there was enough room to show if thread had new posts. I think being able to quickly check threads of interest for new posts would appeal to a lot of people.

If a thread has new posts you will see the new marker. It will take you to the newest post as well just like it does from the postlist screen. I went with the side by side format so users don't have to scroll so much.
