About the Email Post feature. I think there should be one more thing in the form, a textarea for the sender to explain why he is sending the post. Otherwise, if there is no personal text who ever receives the email might consider it as spam. Mateo Byler CruceDeCaminos.com

And one more thing: It is not sending the Category variables... I think it shoud! If I have a user at Cat=1,2 and send a post, I dont want the invited person to access all Categories, I want him to receive a url with Cat=1,2 Mateo Byler CruceDeCaminos.com

Oh... and just in case... The option to strip the < html > tags works here right? That is, I am only receiving the HTML codes just because thats the way wwwthreads.com is set up, right? Is there any email client that can read the html code the way it is sent?Mateo Byler CruceDeCaminos.com

I don't like me too posts but this is very important, I agree with the textarea (and I think it would be easy to implement). I would disregard a mail like this unless it has some kind of message from my friend telling me why I should read it, other comments about the site, etc...

Re: My hack does that. :-D oh, I mean []/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/] (Scream, how about adding a smiley conversion)... I think we need to start a list of hacks that should really be included, e.g. your HTML mail hack, my smiley and URL/Email conversion-to-hyperlinks hack (both are very soon to be out of beta testing and I'm planning on publishing them, I think I haven't yet, have I?), my notify moderators of new posts hack, your icons for attachments hack, ... and... and... ya know, if Scream would put all those tested and well working hacks into the main release, I might even upgrade... I still have some more unpublished hacks that are either too specific to my site's needs or too complicated, but if most hacks that I use (either yours, mine, or some others that I've picked up) became part of the release, needless to say I'd really welcome that!!!
