How can I set up the forum so people can't use email to respond to replied messages?

There's a lot of times when I reply to a post and I get an email from the person, instead of them using the forums.

So what I mean is that when you get your email, that someone has replied to your post, you can just hit 'reply' in your email program and you can talk with the person and bypass the forums altogether....At least I think it's working this way....it may be because I am the admin for the boards. But I still don't want people to be replying through their email program.

I would like to have people using the forums exclusively......I don't want people to bypass the forums. How do I do that?

Actually, I've found it to work a little differently. Someone has set the Send email if reply is made, and someone replies to their thread/post, and suddenly, they're emailing me because they replied to the email they got, and it contains MY email name, not the person who replied to the thread.
