Whats meaning of db value 'Pg' if its not used? there is 'mysql' and 'Oracle' used but no code for 'Pg' or does 'Pg' = postgres use auto_increment or sequence and its somewhere set to either one?

Pg is used in the PERL version. PostGres uses sequences and a few other things differently so there is some code scattered throughout the scripts so it works with this db.

Sorry but is there some line that code like this then: if ($dbdriver eq "Pg") { $dbdriver = "Oracle"; } Since i have perl version 5.4b and there is only 'mySQL' and 'Oracle' checked in lots of part of code. Edited by jriihi on 04/25/01 09:41 AM (server time).

In many instances Pg is handled the same as mysql which is why you don't always see different code for it. Oracle is substantially different so it requires the most code to function properly.
