Information on how to cache your dynamic php pages. Very Very Very usefull. i just added this feature to alot of my pages. you can set it to cache every 2 minutes or day. depending on the content you can change this setting. on a dynamic page that i have i set it to expire every 3 days, i could probably change it to every week i barely change any of that information.
http://www.sitepointforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=18236Worth a healthy read. it is not for anyone, but very usefull for large sites. i have decided to use it in certain parts pf w3t. that don't need to be updated all the time. i was thinking of ways of reducing server load. i am definitelly thinking about adding this to search. and jumper box, but i also think that making jumper box html and not be called dynamically a better solution as i read on vb. reduce mysql calls.
the whos online could be cached also, to refresh every 8 minutes, that will reduce load.....so many ideas..
