I'm looking for a host with at least the following requirements:

- 1GB HD space, preferably 1.5GB
- 20GB bandwidth, preferably 30 (my current (free, but only for gaming sites) hosts figures seem off a bit... they say I currently use 5GB per day which in turn is 150GB/month average. I say that figure is total BS. I think a 0 got carried over somewhere and 500MB per day is what is actually being transferred, making 15GB/month average)
- Domain Hosting
- Subdomains would be a plus
- Anonymous FTP would be nice, but not required
- At least 6 Full Email accounts
- At least 10 Email redirects
- Perl 5, PHP 4 required
- MySQL database preferred, although others supported by WWWThreads would be acceptable (Oracle would be a plus, but I would have to rework a few things)
- SSH would be a plus, but not required
- 1-2 Email mailing lists would be a plus

20-30gb of bandwidth is quite a bit to put on any shared host account... many say unlimited but there are always realistic limits... when the server will start to bog down under a load like that.

Also, you won't find many shared accounts in the 1GB disk space range... if you do, they will be $250/month+.

If you're sure about your transfer, I'd say you are just going to run into problems with a shared host... even if you go with a package that should handle what you list.

Not sure what you want to spend on hosting, but a dedicated host is probably your best bet. Basically, $300/month and up from there for a 20-30gb site.

OK, after I post that I get curious... see http://hostsearch.com/ for non-dedicated plans... you can set your search criteria. It brought up a bunch of hosts that meet your requirements. *sigh* []/testimages/icons/wink.gif[/]

I might have checked this host services already. I've seen hosts with 1GB in a hostsearch type thing, but most have a ludicrously low bandwidth or unlisted bandwidth.

Also, this site qualifies as a file archive, so most places won't touch it.

Did I mention I'm on a limited budget?
