Just wondering if in 5.4.3 we will be able to set the default age of posts to be shown on a per board basis or if it will continue as is, set globally for all boards.
I havent upgraded yet because of this (waiting for this to come), but if it is not going to come I guess I will have to give in, and just go with the global default age.

It's already in 5.4.2. In your profile you will see where you can set it to the board's default as well as the other options and you can change each board's settings when editing the board.

i agree, that is only a global setting, and i knew that *g* so im wondering where that option is if it is there.....

That's a global setting on the end user's part. The admin can set the default per board and the user can choose to use the default setting. There's no real feasible way to have an individual user setting for each board. I mean, it could be done but it would need to be either in a cookie (which would end up breaking the cookie limit) or in another table which would take another query each time a the user visited a board.
