I run the latest version on a password protected folder and would like the board to use the same file.
At the same time we use ibill.com to manage our passwords on this directory...
Before I bought the script someone at wwwthreads told me that it could be easy to hack, somehow write a program to move / update the password files at regular intervals ...
The problem is my ISP, (apache server) who for a fee have always helped, does not have any idea on how to do this and say it can not be done.

Any pointers or ideas???

Do you know if your ISP (or ibill) is controlling password access via the .htaccess file?

If so, look at the contents of this file. You may see it referring to another file on the server that contains the actual usernames and passwords. If it is, then you can create a .htaccess file in your wwwthreads directory that uses the same file for userids and passwords.
