After I install w3t on my server, and follow all 9 steps to the letter, I run createtable.php like it asks me to. This is immediately what I get:
Fatal error: Failed opening required '/home/arcnet/public_html/threads/www/languages//generic.php' in main.inc.php on line 84
I looked at line 84 of main.inc.php, and this is what it says:
require ("$config[path]/languages/$user[newlanguage]/generic.php");
What caught my attention was the $user array. If I haven't even set up a user database, why is it trying to access user data?
My host has 3 versions of php installed on the server, and I believe the default is 3.1.something. I know he has 4.0.6 installed, but I can't seem to find how to make w3t use it instead of the default. I think that might solve the problem.
Any Ideas?
