I went to user list, and chose to send a private message to one of the people listed thereon. After sending the message, I wound up at the main index, rather than returned to the user list window.
W3T is doing a much better job than previously at not jumping around like this, but this is one that still needs patching.
IMO, just about every conceivable action, once completed, should return you to whatever section you were at when you initiated that action.
