I just logged in to the new user area on the infopop site and found a new vers.....I believe that's what it is anyway.
Ver 5.45......yet on Screams site it's ver 5.4
Is this a new version or just a way to differentiate the old wwwthreads to the new ubbThreads?

I made a couple of small changes to the software to get ready for working on the install/update scripts. I figured this would be the best time to do it.

OK...Great!
It just took me by surprise!
I have 1 question for ya too Scream.
At which point will you be updating for site integration?
I would really like to be able to have u2t work with my main site using PostNuke. (dang I hate the name ubbthreads!...so u2t = ubbthreads!)

Not sure. Now that I can focus on one version I've got to reorganize everything. Want to get the install/upgrade stuff done first because it's still harder to install than it needs to be. So, I'm not real sure on the plan of attack yet, but hope to get things reorganized once everything starts to settle down.

Scream--
Will there be a 5.4.6 soon? I know a few of us are waiting for some minor bug fixes and tweaks, and if they are pretty much in, I might just grab this one....

All of the recent bug fixes including those in the official bug fixes forum are in the 5.4.5 version.

Is there supposed to be a 5.4.5 perl version as well? And what do I need some fourty-digit license code for? What's the point of that?

Yeah, that long license code is annoying and pointless. Give us a code based on which number we were. If you were the 50th person to buy ... you're license # 50. We don't care about it looking like InfoPop is as big as Microsoft... which reminds me, of their new 38-digit activation codes. []/testimages/icons/crazy.gif[/]

No, there have been no changes in the PERL version at this point. I believe the license code is that way because they sell multiple products and need to know what product the actual license is for.

Yeah true... but UBBT50 for license #50 would be a lot easier than the long codes we have. No point to complain since it's already done. []/testimages/icons/smile.gif[/] It doesn't really matter.
