I am not a new user of W3t, but I am a complete newby to programming. Is there a flow chart as to how the script works? The reason I am asking is, I have a future dream to add my user's pets into the databse for threads. Like all users I dream of the day I set up one log in and do all site activities from there. So I was hoping to learn how UBBT goes about authinticating a user after login, so I could tap into that and add my own database routines. If any one has a flow chart, or does not mind pointing me in the right directions, I would be grateful.
Thanks, Dale

There's no real flow chart that I know of. Basically, you'd want to look at the authenticate() function in ubbt.inc.php. And then look at a few of the scripts and how they call it. You can call authenticate() and it will authenticate the user and will return in fields from the user table that you specify.

Thanks, I am sure I will be back with more questions.
