How do I have the "Welcome Newest Member......" appear on the top of my UBB Threads like the one in this forum?

Is there any hack code I need to add? I saw some posts on older versions but not for 5.5.

Also, in what script would I add the hack?

The "Welcome Newest Member" is part of UBBThreads 5.5. To enable it, make the following change to your config.inc.php file:

Locate the following:

// Show the total number of registered users on the main page
$config['showreg'] = 0;

Replace that with:

// Show the total number of registered users on the main page
$config['showreg'] = 1;

Thanks that worked. Now, how do I loose the "Registered User(s)." part.

All I want to appear is "Welcome to our newest member,_____"

You'll need to make the changes to ubbthreads.php
