UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 6 Bug Reports [6.0 b3] Main UBBT page generates incorrect link

On the main Beta6 page, the following text is displayed to allow new users to register: "Enter your username and password to login. If you do not have a username you can register one HERE." The word 'HERE' is a link that points to https://www.ubbdev.com/threads/php/newuser.php?Cat=');

Notice the '); at the end of that URL. This will propagate to following pages, making all UBBT links look like this: https://www.ubbdev.com/threads/php/ubbthreads.php?Cat=');

Clicking such a link gives the following error:
SQL ERROR: Unable to do_query: SELECT DISTINCT Cat_Title,Cat_Number FROM w3t_Category WHERE Cat_Number = '); ORDER BY Cat_Number
You have an error in your SQL syntax near ''); ORDER BY Cat_Number ' at line 4

Are you refering to the index page? (integrated index page) The addon's used to create this page have not been modified completely for ubbthreads 6.0 as of yet. As far as I know it was working for 5.5 but I personally haven't tried it with 5.5.1 (waiting to jump to 6.0 myself)

The "main page" or (integrated index page) is not part of any threads package. It is an unofficial addon not unlike any other "hacks" users of threads create. []/forum/images/icons/smile.gif[/]

Edit Note: I just checked my 5.5 test site and sure enough I have an error in the addon. Thanks for the tip Fixing it now []/forum/images/icons/smile.gif[/]

Actually I just checked my index page link on 5.5.1. It does put the '); at the end of the URL. Indeed if that carries over to ubbthreads.php I notice the MySQL error too.

I uploaded the fixed version of loginpal.php to my test site. I wasn't sure if attachments are working here yet and didn't feel like checking... lol
