I just completed the rather major upgrade from v5.4.3 to v5.5.1 and I installed the IIP (Integrated Index Page) enhancement and hack from JustDave.
could anybody advise me as to how much work it will be to upgrade to v6.0?
I'm not sure when it will be "out of the oven" but I'm really looking forward to it.
I just need to budget for my time since these upgrades can take hours to make sure everything is working right.

5.5 and 5.5.1 databases will need to have some tables altered to work with 6.0 but IIP does not work with 6.0 completely without some modifications. Allen mentioned that Rick may release 6.0 on the 19th (tentatively) with a full release at the end of the month. It shouldn't be to long after that that I'll release IIP 4.0 which will be able to use some of the new features of 6.0 such as the post ratings and user ratings. []/forum/images/icons/smile.gif[/]

I'm not budging from v5.5.1 until IIP is working 100% with v6.0.
your add-ons are a key part of our board now so I don't want to compromise anything that I have working now.
please let us know when you're comfortable with everything.
