I have set the config.inc.php to sessions now and specified a session path manually. That seems to work.
Still I would like to know what causes the problem using cookies in my config.

Ron.

I just installed exactly according to the unix installation instructions and I still get the same errors.
I am going to wait for some expert advise now:-))

My guess is you have a space or an empty line(s) after the closing php tag. If so, then it treats this is header information and can't send the cookie. The very last thing in the ubbt.inc.php file needs to be:

?>

Thx, but this is the original .tar file of BR3 send by Infopop. I didn't make any changes
I put the sursor behind the ?> and kept DEL pressed for a while and Volia it works now:-))
Strange this happened whith the original unmodified BR3 version though.

Regards,

Ron.

I'll need to look and see if I left some extra spaces in that file. It's possible

I noticed the same thing on a local install of br3 - I just figured it was a cookie problem and switched to sessions, which killed the error. I'll look and see if there's something else on that last line.

Allen,

That doesn't entirely solve the problem. Try answering or deleting a PM. The errors will appear again.

Ron try this:

Open main.inc.php and after the first line <?

place this:
ob_start();

That should fix the header problem.
