hiya, i made an "archive" so to speak to split up the old posts on my board.
and i'm trying to figure out how to merge it back into the current one.
basicly i did a mysqldump wwwthread > file.dump
did a doexpire on everything older then 30days
and used that dump to install on another setup, and set everything to pretty much read only..
now i'm trying to figure out how to merge the database back in with the current one, as it just seems to be a pain to try and export and intigrate old posts into the 'archive'
so i created a testDB, and mysql newthreads < old.dump and then try importing new.dump well.. i'm not SQL savvy, so anyone know how i can do this without it messing up? get i get double posts and users and boards in some cases, kinda funky..
and both databases are running w3t 5.4.4
