Has this issue been dealt with?
A user can go to their profile / my home, and in their preferances they can upload a picture to be placed under their user name right?
But how would they go in an remove that picture, meaning "I'm tired of that one and don't want one at all".

I think as a stop-gap they can upload a 1-pixel blank.gif in its place.

We are developers, webmasters and such... the 1 pixel solution is simple for us. But telling that to my users would result in a 98% having no idea what I am speaking about.
So, yes, there should be a way to remove pics.
