We want to use our UBB.threads system to serve as a Knowledge Base for our customers. In order to do so, we need to be able to post to the forums from a program that is extracting the data from our other systems.
Is there a way to do this? For regular messages? And for posting polls?

hmmmm.... it would really need to be from within your website so you would be able keep the referrer check on. Most any script can be written to write to your database as long as you have the proper db username/password.

Thanks Allen. I realize it would have to be from with our site to maintain the referrer check. As for writing directly to the DB, is it as simple as just adding an entry to a table (if so, which one?). Or is it more involved?

Can you read PHP? The best method is to look at addpost.php and use it as a guideline for what needs to be done.
