I want to make a "pal" for iip 5.0 that displays the ten last posts in a chosen forum... I can't imagine that this would be a hard hack to make, but I don't have enough experience to start. Tried checking out hacks that others have made to see if they could be easily modified. No luck so far...

anyone got any suggestions or a similiar hack they've made that I could use as a base?

You can use the latestthreads file in your addons directory

I managed to get it to work in it's own little php file, but when I try adding it to the index file as a pal, I get this error msg:
"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class sql in /home/path/public_html/beta/ubbthreads/mysql.inc.php on line 24"


any help is appriciated

Take this line out:

require ("$thispath/main.inc.php");



It is not needed inside the index.php page a second time.
