Does anyone know anything about some people not being able to register a username with 6.0.3. The few people that have had problems are using Windows XP or ME (I know it's vague but please forgive me) with IE 6.0. I have the referrer check turned off because people behind personal firewall routers were having trouble logging on.

The same gentleman also told me that he wasn't able to log on at another location running the same software but on a standard dial-up account.

Could be that they have their browser privacy settings to high and they can't accept cookies. Have them set their privacy settings to medium and add your site to their "trusted" list. (it's called something like that in IE)


I don't believe that the problem lies with the .threads software otherwise it would be wide spread. I think it's a matter of a user's personal settings for their software or their company's settings.
