why is there never completley clear documentation available?
anyway, i'm having problems trying to install a cron to expire threads.
it basically says (when trying to run it using telnet) that theres errors in there.
bascially, i aint got a clue. lol.

It would help if you mention the UBB.threads version, and the exact errors.

can ubbthreads give error messages of the thread expiry routine?

Could you provide some more detail?

There are some known bugs in the 6.0.3 version of doexpire.php, that have been fixed in 6.1.

If you don't want to upgrade to 6.1, you could search the UBB.threads bugs forum(s) at Infopop for "doexpire". I think all the bugs are posted there.

i'll have another run through when i get a chance in the next few days and let you know the errors
