Not sure how to explain this but here goes...
When using the "Code" feature:
i.e. "[ code ] //php or asp code etc... goes here [ /code ]"
Should a line of text be wider that the web browser window, it distorts all posts. Thought I saw threadsdev have a scrowbar in place at one time? Seems to be gone now. May I ask how this was done? Was it using a frameset?

That was something Allen was trying out. By adding width and height attributes to the pre and blockquote tags in the stylesheet, text within those tags which exceeded the dimensions gets scroll bars. I don't know what the status is on that experiment.

It made quotes and code invisible in Internet Explorer and Netscape on the mac , so he put it back. It would be cool to find a solution to that which was compatible with all the major browsers.
