What exactly did you modify... maybe we can see what's wrong if you post what you did.

i found a hack that someone did to log each mysql error so no biggie i got it working. But now i upgraded from 5.5 to 6.1.1 and now all my users signatures are showing actual ubb color tags written out instead of actual interpeting the ubb code. [blue]text[/blue]
Any ideas Help?

The tags for colors have changed since 6.0 (or something).
You now have to use the following notation to get colors: This will be in blue
Either the standard web color names can be used, or RGB-values, like this: This will also be blue
This will also be dependant on the language chosen. See the FAQ for more information.
You will have to tell your users to update their sigs using this new way of writing color markup.

Thanks again for all your help one more question.
Since i have upgraded from 5.5 to 6.1.1 some of my users are unable to login with ie 6.
It automatically redirects them to a page with username / password not found. is this something with cookies or the just ie. please let me know if anybody has had this happen when they upgraded

It might be because they have a firewall or proxy that removes the REFERER field. Try disabling the referer check in your config settings and see if that fixes the problem.

If it's not giving them a chance to login, and just sending them straight to the Username/Password not found page, then it's just reading their cookie and not being able to log them in.
They will need to go to logout.php to delete the cookie and then log back in. I know I had a problem with passwords not working after upgrading from 5.* to 6.*

Yeah and sometimes even that still leaves a cookie crumb or there too. In that case they would need to manually delete them. Copy and paste this post to your forums. Make sure it's in a forum that users who aren't logged in can see. Direct them there when they have trouble. JustDave's "cookiepal" will help alot too.
