Hi All,

My boards been hacked quite a bit so I won't be getting any help from the IS support. Can anyone tell me what the cause of the following error is? Is it 'too many connections' or could it be something else further down the error message and the 'too many connections' is only a result of another problem and not the actual problem? Sorry if this is a bit confusing.

ERROR MESSAGE>

Suggestions:

1) Search the Infopop Community forums for "too many connections". There might be possible solutions posted that would help.

2) If you have persistent connections enabled, turn that off.

3) Check the number of concurrent MySQL connections that your server is currently allowing. Maybe it's too low.

4) Examine your hacks to see if any of them add a lot of server-intensive processing. If so, considering removing those hacks.

5) If you're using threads 6.1+, try the debug mode to see if any queries are taking a long time. This is done by appending "?debug=1" or "&debug=1" to the URL (only works if you're logged in as an admin).
