Does anyone hear use, or has anyone researched PHP accelerators such as the Zend accelerators or the free ones. http://www.php-accelerator.co.uk/forum.phpI heard mixed results whether they will help the UBB since UBB is so reliant an MySql lookups? I ready to install and try, but thought I sek some expierence first.

I don't know of anyone who's looked at them yet. I posted about them in chit chat quite a while back, but don't remember anyone having tried them out yet. If you do, please report back and we'll compile everyone's experiences so we can recommend one or none

I did some research and the Zend people say it will help quite a bit... since it will cache the PHP protion of the script which doesn't change that much.
I plan to test this week and will report back.
