I try to find someting at FAQ but not... so there it goes:
After I received a satisfactory awnser from a question I post here on the forum, should I send another post/reply with "thank you. Appreciate it..."
or it is a waist?
I try to 'thank you' every post in advance, but I'm not sure if I should just send one more.
I'm asking it because in some other foruns I belong the readers don't like that last 'thank you' just because they wast time opening it.

I know it's extra reading....

But me personally... if I replied and helped someone. I like to see a "thank you" just so I know that it worked for them. Then others come along and read... and know that the posted solution worked. Rather than leaving things dangling, unknown whether it resolved anything or not.

I agree with Josh. I like to see "thank you" posts.

And I like to give the last thank you. For exactly the reasons Josh stated.

It's a good thing.



Those other people are taking themselves entirely too seriously.
