I'm running RedHat 7.3 Personal and the resolution is 1024 x 768 by default, but I want to lower it to 800 x 600. How do I do that? I'm using KDE as my GUI. Thanks

If the lower resolution is set in your X configuration file you can probably change the resolution with Ctrl-Alt-MINUS_ON_KEYPAD.
If the resolution you want isn't in the X configuration file you will have to change it, information on how to do that should be in the Red Hat online manual as well as in the man file for the config file of X.
