It works ok but I (admin) also get an email that tells me "To approve this account, please visit "
and when I go there there is no one to approve.

The approval part is OFF in the config.

Is there an extra line in the code?

I think the first attempt was to send the approval email.... to let you know there were new users. But that ended up not being what they wanted.

So I think if you just do the part in this post you should get an email with each new user, with username and email address.

Skip the first post I made in that thread with the approval section. I think that'll do the trick for you.
