Hey Jeremy (or anybody who could help me ), I just had a quick question -

I'm new to the whole purchasing webspace/domain thing; getting REALLY tired of free webhosts. I finally found a domain that I could go with (using vertexhost btw hehe), and I'm looking at purchasing the starter package for now (I don't have my own UBB.threads software yet , just want some space for a personal webspace). I chose to do for a full year @ $6.95/month and the total came to ~$83, but said due on 2004/11/08. Now, I would pay $6.95/month until then, correct? ~$83 is just what it would add up to by next year? Or do I pay in full on this date next year??

It means you pay in full, but if you take a look at the total price of 83.xx it equals 6.95/month (if it was paid monthly). Basically, you just save 12 dollars if you prepay for a full year.

12 x 7.95 = 95.40
12 x 6.95 = 83.40

But to get the discount, the whole year is paid for up front. That's all Just a way to break it down so people see the discount for prepaying a year.

Can you give me details on pricing for a bigger site 700mg right now and 36 gig of transfer. I know your threads friendly and this interest me since I use fp2003 along with the threads stuff.

How tight is your schedule? The reason I ask is because I currently don't have dedicated or semi-dedicated packages quite ready to roll out yet. I'm in the process of a whole billing and ordering system overhaul, and once complete will hopefully have some dedicated servers ready to get rolling.

The problem is with the holidays and end of the year wrap-up for buget and tax purposes, I'm guessing they will not be ready until after Jan 1.

But, if you need something immediately, I can point you to a few places that can give you some really good prices on servers with awesome support that I have worked with in the past. Just let me know

not urgent but would like to weigh my options and share with my members. My host bill basically got doubled after the first of the year without the added features. Keep me informed and I will try give you my business

ON a time frame I would think after the new year and before the end of feb would be enough time and I could budget accordingly.
