UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 7 Development How Do I? Add-ons using UBBT DB

I'm adding the following to my site and I was wondering if anyone here has any opinions on software and/or intergration with the UBBT DB.

Add-ons like
- phpLinks - a link indexig script
- classifieds - listing of items for sale
- auction
- shoppong cart

Each of these adds use MySql for member storage and related information. I would hate to have my members sign-up for each one seperately. I have most of the software picked out, just wanting to see if anyone here has done this and especally if you at least tied in member login.

Take a look at the site and see...

I did not integrate any of the functions into the UBBT DB. There is a nice Links mod now available somewhere on here for UBBT. This was added after I added my links script. I stayed with mine, primarily for the same reason I did not add the PhotoPost hack to include photos on the forum board... simply because the forum is becoming to long of a list.

The classifieds are working OK and have a seperate signup since they can be emailed seperately for classified communications. I have had a hard time moving people to the formal classifieds from the existing buy/sell forums. I gave up on the auction, since you can't compete with ebay.

Your site looks great. I too have to long of a forum list so full integration of some things has to be set aside. Actually need to trim my forums down....
I was thinkin on using the auctions one for a mini fund raiser for the site. Could put items in a forum though.

The classified is pretty cool but would be nice if you could ask questions in a forum style.

The links script I have been following waiting for the finished version to be ready. My coding skills suck so I can't contribute much yet.

I do need to clean up my headers to a better linking script for navigation similar to what you have done.
