Hi guys,
within the admin panel there is a option called: 'Allow moderators to edit/delete regular users:'
if they can't edit users, the moderators can't put others into a special group so I need this option to be on. On the other hand if this option is on the moderators can delete users which is NOT wanted.
How to separate this now? Mods should be able to edit users except the password but not do delete them...

Do your mods need to be able to edit EVERYTHING other than the password and deleting? If you just want them to be able to edit the user groups, I think there is a mod here somewhere for that already.

I wrote up and posted instructions here which prohibit the moderators from being able to delete users.

Thanks Josh,
but how can I now also prevent my mods from adding persons to other groups than the groups they are mod in?
Can you help me with this?
