I went to edit a post that I made and it looked ok in the preview that I hit the continue and this is what the results are

in the preview

I deleted the post and created a new one and edited that one with the same resaults. The only thing I can think of is there is a bug when a poster changes his/her disply name after thay make a post. Because that is what this poster did. I was loged in as my admin account when this happend. any ideas besides not editing posts?

Check your "badwords" file (under the admin menu) for extra spaces or blank lines.

That's usually the cause of it.

I have no badwors in there and there wern't any spaces. I have edited others with out any problems the only thing that has changed with this post is that he posted with one display name then he changed his display name after he mede the post.

Try uploading a new clean copy of the badwords file.

It's in the includes directory. It really looks like it's censoring a space..... and the badwords file *may* be corrupt or something.

That would really be the best way to try to rule it out.

Ok I will do it as soon as I get home. I will let you know how it goes.

Also.... is your badwords file empty?

If so.... make sure you don't have anything in the config file for censored word. If you aren't using this feature.... then this should be blank in the config file.

That was it I had the defauld [Censord] in the censored word area. and yes my badwords file is empty.

Ah.... I've reported that to rick as a bug. If you put something in the censored word space... and the file is empty... it freaks out.
