How would I insert a banner ad from my adserver (phpadsnew) into the email that my users receive from the forums that they subscribe to?
I tried editing the subscriptions.php found in the languages folder, but that only succeeded in puting the banner ad on the web page that comes up when you run the subscriptions cron task. Any ideas?

The way Phpadsnew and many banner ads work there is no way to do this that I know of. You could enter a graphic in the email but not banner ads as they are ran from scripts on a server drawing info from the mysql database.

If it was just one ad, he could use the banner as the graphic and do it like that correct? Sure this is completely irrelevant but the webmail I offer on my site pulls a banner ad from my banner software and sticks it in at the bottom of the emails. I guess that's different.....

It should work if you use remote invocation and your users get the mails in html format.
You may want to insert the banner at line 158 in cron/php/subscriptions.php.
