I must be missing something here but I just noted that the - views - of a topic are no longer updated / displayed within my forums for allmost the last year.

I guess I must be missing something here but this seems to be a standard feature of UBBT and not a hack I forgot to reimplement in my boards.

I cannot find anything where this can be turned on/off and I verified in the database and all posts since the last 6 months have a value of null.

I searched and searched but could not find anything.

Any clue what I am missing or where i should look ?

Okie, correct me if I am wrong, but I should be looking at the variable $vc as this seems to update the B_Counter.
However I can't find a declaration for this variable in any file.

Is it declared in any inc files ? Or how is it set ?
Also all new posts get a value of NULL (=empty) in the DB so adding one to it does that work or is it there that it goes wrong ? Should it have 0 instead of null when creating a new post ?

I ran across this somewhere else and fixed it for a client.

The default value of that field should be 0, not NULL.

When it's null... it never counts.

Some upgrade or classic conversion somewhere along the line monkeyed it up for my client.

Do you have phpMyAdmin or similar. Set the value of that field to be 0 by default in the database.. Not NULL.

Then it'll start counting again.
