Not so much a "How Do I", but a "Why" post...

Occasionally when I login as a user, I trigger a blank PM from that user being sent to all the Admins of my forum. Is this normal? Is it a bug? It only seems to happen when I do the "login as user" thing, not when the other admins do it.

I think it's got to do with the multiple identity detector. But I'm not sure why they are blank....

Turns out those users didn't have an entry for U_Language in their profiles. Don't ask me how... but then it wasn't finding the language strings for the multiple identity PMs. I set all the blank people to 'english'.

I added a little text (like "Multi ID:" to the front of the PM subject, so that at least if it doesn't find the language strings, you'd still have a subject to click on and see the message and at least know what it's from.

Very odd.

I just received a PM entitled "MultiID" and I thought a user was confessing to something. Now I know why it says that Thanks for the fix!

I'm still confused as to why it doesn't default to the english language files when it doesn't have one defined.. or why there isn't one defined for some people. But maybe it's confusion in determining that when you 'become the user'.
