I've got a persistant irritation.
All my users complain that thier time stamps are crazy. So I've been monitoring it. My server time will report 8:22am CST but my boards will report 2:22pm CST. I've checked the time offset in the configuration section as well as the personal time offset and both are 0 which means (I think) that the boards should use whatever the server time stamp is.
So - how is ubb.threads getting server time? And why if all the configurations are set to 0 is the time all screwed up?

UBB.threads uses the time() function. What's the output from this script? <?php echo date('r', time()) ?>

The output is:
Mon, 17 Mar 2003 12:18:46 -0600
I'm assuming that the last 5 characters is an offset? If so, where does it come from? My server is set to CST - which is 6 hours behind GMT. Is that the problem?

If it was 12:18PM your time when you got that result, then it's correct.
