What's the diff and where can I find documentaiton on what UBBCode will allow you to do?

UBB Code is a way of providing limited access to HTML capabilities.

There's a brief explanation of UBB Code in the FAQ. A link to that section of the FAQ is displayed when you're making a post.

If arbitrary HTML is allowed in posts, users can potentially compromise the security of your board, as well as doing annoying things. For this reason, it is generally a good idea to only allow UBB Code, and not HTML, on your forums.

Is there any way to add to UBBCode? like say a marquee tag? I've got some youngsters on my board that like to post marquees. AS well, is there a way to change font style and size? Again, if not, is there a way to add the UBBCode for that?

I'd like to protect my system but would like a few more UBBCode tags to use.

You can add UBB Code by hacking the methods html::do_markup() and html:undo_markup() in ubbt.inc.php. I think there's a published hack in one of the mods forums here that makes this easier. It's tricky to change the UBB Code, though, so be careful.

How Do I add the Font where the letters are outlined in those colors , It's called Glow. ?
