Someone registered on my board, didn't get the confirmation email for whatever reason, and now when they try to log in they get an error saying that they have not confirmed their email address. I don't see the user name in the database (so I can't delete it). Any ideas on what I can do to fix this one?

UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_Approved = 'yes' WHERE U_Email = ' [email protected]' Should do the trick.

Hmmmm That's a 6.2.1 bug in adduser.php not expiring the old unconfirmed users when it runs. You might check that you updated adduser from the 6.2.3 distribution.

The size of the adduser.php file in the 6.2.3 zip and the one I had on my server were the same, but just in case I uploaded the file from the zip. Thanks Josh!

Unverified users are purged by adduser.php. If no new users register, then unverified users will remain in the database indefinitely.
