is it possibel til mass PM to groups ?? like sending emails ??

I think I'll bump this one up as I'm interested in an answer myself.
I've got several ways to communicate with - say - my Moderators. But every once in a while, I'd like to give them a nudge - and a PM would be a nice way to do that. Is it possible to do a hack that would send a PM to a group of users?????
